Cold chain, without the diesel genset.
Our reefer (refrigerated) vehicles run the cooling unit off the vehicle's own battery. No separate diesel generator, no genset fuel bill, and no genset noise outside a hospital, hotel or dark store.
Why an EV reefer costs less to run.
A diesel reefer truck carries two engines: one to drive, one just to run the cooling compressor. That second engine burns fuel and needs its own service, whether the truck is moving or parked at a loading dock.
An EV reefer runs the compressor off the same battery pack. One less engine to fuel, service and replace, so the cost per kilometre for perishable freight comes down.
- No genset fuel. The cooling unit draws from the drive battery, not a separate diesel tank.
- Lower service cost. One motor to maintain instead of a motor and a genset engine.
- Silent at the dock. No genset idling outside pharmacies, hospitals or stores at night.
- Steady temperature. The compressor runs on mains-charged battery power, not on how much diesel is left.
Built for Coimbatore's cold chain.
Short, frequent city runs are exactly where an EV reefer earns back its cost fastest.
